MINING HAS A GENDERED COST. WHO PAYS IT? Zimbabwe’s critical minerals may power the green transition but mining-affected communities are paying the price through polluted water, lost livelihoods, displacement and environmental degradation. #PayTheHarm #FundOurFuture @YAI_Africa

Replying to @Zinasuzim
@Zinasuzim student leaders lighting candles in Harare CBD in memory of the Kariba victims. They also took a moment to express solidarity with the vendors, who are facing government attacks simply for earning an honest livelihood through genuine hard work. Well done, comrades. The struggle continues unabated!

Just the beginning.... mourning our beloved country that died economical , social and political 46 years ago💔
Salute to Zimbabwean students who stood with KARIBA victims and vendors harassed by City Council. Most vendors are graduates facing unemployment, parents struggling to pay school fees, and civil servants. Chasing them away solves nothing. The real solution is employment!
