Spent a wonderful day today at sunny (but cold) Happisburgh beach, filming for @HistoryHit TV with the fantastic @Ray_Mears. Such a pleasure to work with, and see him sit down and knapp a 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴 style handaxe on the beach!

What a treat #fortheloveofbritain to turn on tonight to my home county. The past year has taught me to spend more time in the Norfolk countryside & coast. I watched the sunrise at Cromer Beach in July and it was stunning. Totally worth getting up in the middle of the night for!
I attended @NNFest Harriet Martineau Lecture years ago when delivered by Ali Smith - she was utterly mesmerising 😍😍😍 and I’ve never forgotten it or her.
