Today is Empathy Day and it is one week until the winners of #CKG22 are announced. Each one of these books helps to develop empathy - they have challenged the way that I see the world and helped me to understand another person's point of view. #EmpathyDay #ReadforEmpathy

Finished this #ckg22 shortlisted book yesterday too. Wow! Such an important & powerful read - I was gripped by Moa’s experiences. I want to know what happens to him next @brixtonbard This book is a must for secondary school libraries - it’s impact has really kept me thinking.

It's #WorldBookDay !
Here's a reminder of why this day is so important.
📚📚📚
ALT Text reads: 1 in 7 pupils said that the book they 'bought' with their World Book Day book token had been their first book of their own. Among children receiving free school meals, this number rose to 1 in 5.
