Did you see a lithium battery in a flood-damaged golf cart exploded Thursday morning in West Wildwood, setting off a fire that burned homes on Maple Avenue!? And these Dem NJ politicians want to force these battery operated cars on us everywhere still
Officials say the cart had been exposed to saltwater in last week’s nor’easter. The homeowners weren’t there. Their dog died in the fire. Fire crews say this is one of about a dozen battery fires since the flooding, and they’re warning people not to use or charge golf carts, e-bikes, scooters, or other devices that got wet

The money promised to Flat Creek Solar from @NYSERDA would have gone to pension pools in Canada, the Netherlands, and Australia.
This is why ORES rubber stamps final permits for solar and wind complexes 100% of the time. These foreign pension pools rely on the "predictable" backing of NYSERDA that they can tout to their investors as well.
We lose our farmland, wildlife, water sources, and history in the process. And New York State Energy Research and Development Authority dips into our electric bills through the delivery charge and SBC charge to amass billions of dollars it uses to court these foreign solar and wind developers.
I just wrote an article breaking this down further. It's important that every New Yorker understand why you can't afford your electric bill today. It's being used to socialize the failed rollout of solar and wind through ORES.

We applaud the U.S. Department of Interior's settlement with RWE, holder of the Community Offshore Wind lease -located 37 miles east of LBI, preserving a 125,964-acre parcel in its natural state. We respectfully urge Atlantic Shores to pursue a similar settlement, relinquishing its lease areas off LBI, totaling 262,603 acres.
