Good example of strong partnership working in Coventry. tbh churches not always v good at being a network. @gather_movement can help! #movementforrecovery If you are in Lancashire, let's connect; please make contact @dr_sakthi @BpBlackburn @LivDiocese @MethodistGB @LancashireCC
The Family Hubs APPG has been exploring how local authorities can work in partnership with faith organisations (with a detailed look at the Church) to serve communities. It was a really interesting session and well worth catching up on if you missed it! familyhubsappg.org.uk/
How ironic to acknowledge Abram, who WENT from one place to another, ie he was an 'immigrant', yet today, 'immigrants' are routinely scapegoated by the right. So much for 'Judaeo- Christian heritage' @ZiaYusufUK @GoodwinMJ @Nigel_Farage @MethRecorder @MethodistGB @the_team71236
Join me & my husband Fr. Aaron Burt to discuss readings for 2nd Sunday in Lent: Genesis 12:1-9; Psalm 33:12-21; Romans 4:1-17; John 3:1-16.

We never sent anyone back because the boats didn’t exist before Brexit- even you can see that the Boris/Farage boats started coming over in their 000’s post Brexit resulting in our failure to control our own borders - cooperation enhances sovereignty- isolation weakens it
Indeed Bernard. I didn't realise @christopherhope was so far down the rabbit hole. Claimed Trump is an ally!!! Bollocks! Trump only cares about money and his media showing. He is corruption with a big C. Hope and too many journos are cowards
Just disgusting listening to @GBNEWS propagandist @christopherhope on #bbcaq, justifying the award of the #FIFAPeacePrize to the tyrant #Trump.
Hope claims that Trump is truly working towards peace in Ukraine. (He is NOT!)
Why does the #BBC host these LYING KGBNews Shysters??
Disappointed that @BBCNews doesn't have this on its news page - contrast with Reform!

How does this idea of love play out with JD Vance and @jtworr who think love is confined to 'our own'? Rachel Man @BBCRadio4 #ThoughtForTheDay quoted Kolbe 'love lives through sacrifice - w'out sacrifice there is no love'. More 'sacrificial', less bullying leadership needed now?

As a member of @MethodistGB I support this statement, noting the appaling loss of life over last 18 months, the restrictions on aid getting into Gaza, and the unchecked and illegal settlements continuing to displace Palestinians in the West Bank @LancsFaiths
The President and Lay Leader have issued a statement on behalf of the Methodist Church in Ireland on the Gaza humanitarian situation.

I'm on the delayed 15.49 from Bolton to Manchester, stuck outside Salford crescent. Can't hear the announcements being made. Can you tell what's the score??
