Steve Albini's #1 priority was to protect and preserve an artist's vision--and you can't preserve it forever digitally so he kept working with tape. It's no wonder his @Caropopcast episode remains by far the most downloaded one. We've lost a tremendously talented, thoughtful guy.

What a legend. What a kind, funny, talented man. Everybody’s friend. Huge loss for Chicago radio and everyone who knew him. RIP, Lin.
