The Grade 2s also mixed primary colours (🔴🟡🔵) to make secondary colours (🟠🟢🟣). In Grade 2, we are learning about the element of space as well (e.g. overlapping).
Today we learned about primary and secondary colours in art. 🎨 The Grade 1s then mixed primary colours (🔴🟡🔵) to create some fall pumpkins. 🎃

🧡🪶On September 30, the OCSB will join communities across Canada in recognizing Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We invite our students, staff, and families to wear orange in honour of Residential School Survivors, in memory of the children who never returned home, and in recognition of the lasting impacts of residential schools on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.
Together, we wear orange to remember, to learn, and to reaffirm that Every Child Matters. 🧡
