Interns from the @PCRCBiH visited ICMP’s office in Sarajevo to learn more about ICMP’s work in the Western Balkans, where ICMP has assisted states in accounting for more than 75% of the estimated 40,000 people who went missing during the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia.
The discussion also focused on ICMP’s global mandate and its role in supporting countries to address the issue of missing persons.

The 🇪🇺's 4th State of Peace Youth Academy brought together 45 young people from 🇧🇦 🇭🇷 🇲🇪 🇷🇸 who traveled across 🇧🇦 visiting 7 local communities.
Their message is clear: a peaceful, connected region is essential to the shared path towards the EU.

Yesterday, the McCain Ukrainian leaders visited the Srebrenica Memorial and Cemetery for the victims of the 1995 genocide.
The leaders also spoke with a survivor, as well as mothers of victims, who shared their stories of war, escape, and return.
The McCain Institute commends all who work to keep the memory of the victims alive and continue to fight for justice.
