all of you can dunk on the “consultant class” but realize this:
much of campaigns is just a massive compromise between what advisors know is good politics, and whatever incoherent shit the candidate wants.
this is example a) of why there are approvals chains, deputy roles, etc
NEWS: Roger Marshall goes rogue.
The inside story of how an embattled Kansas Republican wanted an ad to push back on medical debt attacks, was told no by his team, made one anyway without knowledge of some advisers and got it out into the world.

I was proud to vote early today in Farmington for:
✅ @PingreeHannah
✅ @TroyJackson207
✅ @dunlap4congress
✅ Scott Landry for ME House
✅ Bob Sullebarger for ME Senate
I encourage Maine people to vote for Democrats up and down the ballot who will stand up for our values and stand up to Trump.

NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election.
Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill.
John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

The real out of touch elitism is thinking Americans can’t take a joke about Saddam Hussein’s Cheesecake Factory. Literally no one cares.
Today I received three texts from Sherrod Brown, while I was standing 10 feet away from him at a rally.
Was a lot easier to put up with this BS when he held a critical us senate seat that no one else could.
The disgusting attack ad in the Ohio governor’s race points to a much bigger problem in politics. The political parties don't care about the character or integrity of their candidates anymore. They only care about power — no matter what it takes. We need common sense leadership, and once again, the parties are failing to meet the moment.
