Over the past month, I've been busy with several projects and recently completed one. In this project, I built a LinkedIn Jobs Data Pipeline. It extracts job listing data from the LinkedIn API and carry out series of tasks with S3, Lambda and Redshift medium.com/@chideraozigbo/li…

If you're serious about working in modern data teams, dbt is a tool worth knowing beyond the basics. It transforms raw data into reliable, tested datasets and brings software engineering practices: version control, testing, docs and modularity into the transformation layer. 🧵

A new track has been added to Praxicraft, and we can’t wait to share it with you all. 👀 But before we reveal it… Can you guess what the new track is? Hint: Raw data is only the beginning. What happens between the source and the dashboard? Praxicraft × ??? Comment below!😉

Several times, I've been asked if I have left politics. The plain answer is No. I have not abandoned politics. But my purpose in politics goes beyond party affiliation: it is about changing the mindset of the individuals who make up both the leadership and followership of our country. In this excerpt from a recent interview, I address the question squarely, and also discuss why we must work on the individuals that make up society - you and me. Discernment must never become self-righteousness. If we claim to belong to the Light, our first responsibility is not to become better prosecutors of everybody else. It is to submit ourselves to the Spirit of Truth, examine our own motives, and hold firmly to what is good. So before asking where another politician or party stands, perhaps the more searching question is: Where do I stand, and what in the way I live proves it? Truth does not bend itself around our politics, friendships, or ambitions. It is simply true. Watch the full interview here: youtube.com/watch?v=1CKaKoxV…

Fix: • git pull origin main • Resolve any conflicts, then git add . && git commit -m "resolved" • Push again: git push origin main • Avoid git push --force — it overwrites remote history Start free → praxicraft.com

Here is how to fix this error 👇 Git rejects your push to protect history it hasn't shown you yet so it's not a bug. • The remote has commits your local copy doesn't • Often from a teammate pushing while you worked locally. • Or a direct edit on GitHub ( small README edit) 🧵

"Data Engineer" postings read like a language she's almost fluent in. Ingestion. Orchestration. Idempotency. Words she knows. But has never built.

She's good at her job. Genuinely good. The one they call when a dashboard breaks at 4:58pm on a Friday. But she's not an engineer. Yet.

Data Engineers encounter errors like this often so let's break it down; Pandas loads your entire file into RAM before doing anything with it. Fine at 50MB. Fatal at 10GB on an 8GB server you'll get MemoryError, pipeline crash. Not bad code, just the wrong tool for the job. 🧵

Why Docker Matters for Data Engineers A data pipeline can work perfectly on one machine and completely fail on another. Different Python versions, missing dependencies, operating system differences, database configurations, and environment variables can all affect how a

I have spent the past few nights coming up with a conceptual end to end architecture of a data pipeline for a telecommunications company. Pheww! A wide ride. We had review session tonight. Hearing others discuss their assumptions and thoughts really made things make more sense

If u are ever looking for that platform to practice data engineering and get your hands dirty. Here is one praxicraft.com
Two days ago, Airflow went live on Praxicraft, here's what's actually inside: • Full Airflow workspace, VS Code built in • Live UI, real scheduler + API server running in-session • Built on Airflow 3: DAG versioning, asset-based scheduling • Real data warehouse-backed tasks.

It’s a wrap for today! Started out with SQL today. Required that one has prior knowledge of SQL. But I scaled through. Reminded of when I do 30 days SQL challenge and posted on my TikTok handle. And yes, my internet improved and electricity came up🙌 The journey…🙌

Airflow is live on Praxicraft! 🚀. Do yourself a favor. Stop reading about orchestration, start doing it. The hard part was never the syntax, it's understanding how a DAG behaves once it's actually running. Real scenarios, live sandbox, built to get you there.
