Primary care accounts for about 4% of the healthcare dollar but we seem to face 100% of the economic burden. As if cutting physician payments will somehow balance the budget and decrease the cost of medications and tests. #stopthecuts – at Coral Springs, FL

ACP BOR Chair/Co-lead of the Texas Primary Care Consortium @sue_bornstein, MD testified in support of a bill allowing PPOs & EPOs to enter into value-based payment arrangements for primary care physicians. Passage would be a major step toward value-based contracting in Texas.
