Destroying things is quick and easy.
Creating things is slow and difficult.

Evil detests beauty because beauty is proof of a transcendental order, of objective Goodness and Truth.
To attack beauty is to wage war against the possibility of transcendence.
Beauty is a great affront to nihilism. It testifies to that which is greater than the individual, because to create a beautiful thing is to acknowledge that you are answerable to standards higher than your own. Beauty is often called a great evangelist for this reason.
This is why they outright destroy beauty or try to subvert your perception of it by promoting ugliness or triviality. Beauty is neither neutral nor trivial — your ability to discern the beautiful from the ugly is intimately connected to your capacity to recognize the divine.
Dietrich von Hildebrand once declared that "beauty is the archenemy of mediocrity." Why?
Beauty elevates a person toward truth, goodness, and the divine. The antitheses to beauty drag the soul down into nihilism and worship of the self.

“He purposefully, and with determination, brought a world spotlight to the miserable conditions of the orphans in Romania through his presence there and his telecast concert Live In Bucharest. He dramatized the plight of the people in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and of American prison inmates in two versions of They Don't Care About Us. He performed concerts in Seoul, Korea, and Germany, at the request of Nelson Mandela, for the benefit of specific charities in South Africa. Michael Jackson sat at the bedsides of terminally ill children of all shades of color, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and ages throughout the world. Michael believed that his primary job was as a global humanitarian.”

Will we ever learn the full extent of Michael’s charity activities? 💔🤴🏾💔
“Michael also supported a small grassroots organization, run by only six employees, the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California, with contributions of his sequin
studded jackets, gloves, and other personal items. These were raffled off for undisclosed but significant amounts of cash for the cause.”
