“He purposefully, and with determination, brought a world spotlight to the miserable conditions of the orphans in Romania through his presence there and his telecast concert Live In Bucharest. He dramatized the plight of the people in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and of American prison inmates in two versions of They Don't Care About Us. He performed concerts in Seoul, Korea, and Germany, at the request of Nelson Mandela, for the benefit of specific charities in South Africa. Michael Jackson sat at the bedsides of terminally ill children of all shades of color, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and ages throughout the world. Michael believed that his primary job was as a global humanitarian.”

Will we ever learn the full extent of Michael’s charity activities? 💔🤴🏾💔 “Michael also supported a small grassroots organization, run by only six employees, the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California, with contributions of his sequin studded jackets, gloves, and other personal items. These were raffled off for undisclosed but significant amounts of cash for the cause.”
