🚨 Web developers 🚨 <a> and <button> are often misused. They have different purposes. <a> is for navigating <button> is for actions This leads to 2 common mistakes: 1. Using anchors for actions. 2. Using buttons to navigate. 1/4 👇

I don’t believe you have to have passion to be a programmer, and was a bit sick of hearing the argument. So I spent some time unpacking with research how flow state is the reason that this is not a requirement and everyone is welcome in tech! leaddev.com/culture-engageme…

Met someone at work today who's just started programming recently and they were talking about how they have to google everything they're working on and that makes them feel bad I showed them the 112 tabs I currently have open and they felt better lmao 🤣

I couldn’t care less if a child sings with perfect pitch or a plethora of pitches, if they enjoy singing I’ll give my all to ensure their love of singing burns bright and long. Singing is for everyone.

You don’t need to be a professional musician to enjoy or benefit from making music. You don’t need to be a professional singer to enjoy or benefit from singing. You don’t need to be a professional composer to enjoy or benefit from creating music. Music is for everyone.

I just heard about the passing of Jessye Norman & my heart has broken in two. 💔 She has always been an endlessly inspiring artist to me. She was definitive and legendary, and the world feels a little less vibrant without her here. What a tremendous loss. youtu.be/NxZZAlMr7cU

If you offer average (market rate) pay you'll attract average developers and get average retention. P.S. Average retention for devs is < 2 years.

Americans should never have to fear living in our country because it's a fucking war zone. Here's a video of what it was like during the #texasshooting where a 17-month-old child was shot in the face. This should NEVER happen. #GunReformNOW xitter.cf/NOW1SOLAR/status/11679…
