October 7 marks the third year of the onslaught of violence against the Palestinians, an extension of a decades-long genocide.
The genocidal acts and illegal occupation by Israel have not ceased, and the silencing of outrage has grown.
Let us not mindlessly and silently watch the killing of thousands of people and the destruction of culture, language and land.
Continue to boycott, protest and demand accountability from South African corporations and institutions that support ethnic cleansing.

Open Secrets’ documentary We Can’t See the Sunset (2025) will be screened at Ubuntu Hub, Joburg on 22 September! The documentary reveals the climate costs borne by the communities living at the margins. South Africa’s energy crisis, one built off extraction, power and profit, bears the weight not only of an unjust past but an uncertain future. In a time where mass extinction looms, We Can’t See the Sunset becomes not only a witness to loss, but a testament to the enduring hope.

Today marks anti-apartheid activist Dulcie September’s birthday. She would have been 91. But her life was cut short when she was assassinated in Paris while acting as the ANC chief representative in France. Her killer and the network of people who benefitted from her death have still not been brought to justice.
Dulcie did not live to see a democratic South Africa, but she was vital in its struggle and establishment. She is a reminder not only of what we must contribute to the collective struggle, but also of the need for state accountability in arms trafficking and political corruption.
Join us and @AfrClimAlliance for Climate Week's Energy Justice Day on 1 September! 🌍
We'll be hosting two events: an artivist linocut printmaking workshop and the documentary screening of 'We Can't See The Sunset'! ✨ Spots are limited so save the date and bring a date

So you agree…you think migrants are a vulnerable group abused by people in power and falsely blamed for structural issues…
