Thanks for tagging us. Our engineering team is aware of the project and they are evaluating.
Almost one year after the latest release, we just tagged OpenRTX v0.3.6 🎉, including full support for @m17_project, Module17 and @lilygo9 TTWR Plus!
Check it out here:
github.com/OpenRTX/OpenRTX/r…

ALT Screenshot of the changelog from GitHub for the v0.3.6, below the content: M17: implemented transmission of the EOT frame before closing a transmission. M17: showing stream info on screen during reception. M17: implemented check for CAN match in RX. Set up a dedicated UI for Module17. Added support for Module17 hardware revision 0.1e. Reorganized the audio path and audio stream subsystem. Corrected the conversion law for volume level in MDx devices. Added transmission of 1750Hz squelch tone to MDx and GDx. Added icons to UI. Added screen lock to radio UI. Support for a new target: Lilygo TTWR-plus. Bugfix and improvements.

Support for T-TWR Plus is now merged in our main branch! The radio can Tx and Rx in FM, even the GPS is working!
Future updates will bring Bluetooth LE KISS TNC capabilities to enable sending APRS packets!

Pietro designed a beautiful and functional 3D printable case for the T-TWR Plus. Firmware development is going fast, so pretty soon we'll have a complete M17-enabled radio!

T-TWR Plus Open Edition running OpenRTX.
This platform will be able to modulate arbitrary digital protocols, including M17 without hardware mods!
ESP32 has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so there is great potential for experimentation 🚀

First Hello World by OpenRTX built with Zephyr RTOS!
🎉🎉🎉
This will enable T-TWR and Quansheng UV-K5 ports!
From today, G-NiceRF is producing SA868 “open edition”, this variant is blank and can be reprogrammed freely to enable M17 and other digital modes!

New week, new hardware!
IU3POA has created BB Hat, a hat for the STM32 BlackBoard that runs OpenRTX and can (de)modulate M17 when combined with an analog radio!
Bonus: all the components are through-hole so this one is easy to source, solder and hack!
