🚫 Visitors can no longer obtain a commercial driver’s licence
🌍 Ending automatic foreign licence recognition from non-reciprocal countries
🇨🇦 One year of Canadian driving experience required before earning a Class A licence
These are common-sense changes that protect families, support honest drivers, and keep Ontario’s roads safe for everyone.

You may have seen the headlines today about Al Jazeera journalist Ismail al-Ghoul, who was apprehended by the IDF in Shifa Hospital while it was battling terrorists.
Given the multiple instances since October 7th of Al Jazeera journalists moonlighting as Hamas operatives (or vice versa), I figured I’d take a look into al-Ghoul as well.
What I found was a highly sophisticated, concerted effort to – for lack of a better word – manufacture a "legitimate journalist" out of whole cloth.

Landed immigrants make up 60% of this workforce.
This is evil. If you think this is explicable resistance then you do not consider Hamas fighters as human. I like to think they can be better than this, but for religion this couldn’t occur.

If there was a city council meeting at which rightwingers said anything remotely as evil, stupid, wrong, and indefensible as this every single major media outlet would run it constantly and every Republican politician would be asked to condemn it. Even if you think I’m wrong, most conservatives agree will agree with me in whole or in part. Refusal to condemn this sort of garbage is a poison pill for the center left.

Mohammed Nazal was released from Ofer jail in Israel where he was servicing a sentence for terror-related offenses in exchange for the release of Israeli hostages.
Palestinians are alleging he had both his arms broken and smashed with hammers by prison officers while in prison and alleging he did not receive medical attention for 8 days.
Since his release he has appeared wearing casts on both his arms.
However, newly released video shows the Palestinian man leaving the prison with his arms perfectly intact and functional and appearing in good health.
He is seen casually putting his hands in his pocket as he leaves the prison thus discrediting the Hamas narrative that his arms were severely broken.
