The only place APC hasn’t put up a poster is in the sky.
Lagos has been successfully wallpapered with political posters. Everywhere in Ikeja, around MMA, on both sides of the bridges. Everywhere you turn, there’s a poster.
I just wonder what happens after the election.

This post should have a minimum of 10 million views, and needs to be forwarded to every early to mid career professional (senior ones who don’t know this are already lost), every job hunter, every university student across Nigeria.
More people should speak on this topic.
I need some peeps for a campaign
I’ll be sending DMs to a few X creators and non-creators. If you receive a DM from me, respond 🙏🏾 It’s quite urgent.
Thank you!
I’m genuinely surprised by the Lagos governorship debate and the conversation around it.
When comparing the DG with the other aspirants, I think we’re overlooking one very important fact: he is currently the DG of Lagos State. He is already part of the government in power.
If you’re presenting yourself as a candidate for continuity, shouldn’t there also be some ownership of the administration’s record, both its achievements and its shortcomings?

Some things only make sense when you look back.
My first camera was a Canon 650D.
I was just beginning to find my way into photography then. I didn’t know where this journey would take me. I didn’t know the stories I would tell, the people I would meet, the sets I would stand on, or the places this little camera would eventually lead me.
I only knew that I loved making pictures.
Years later, I’ve had the privilege of building a career as a cinematographer, filmmaker and visual storyteller. From the first images I made, to the films I’ve produced and shot, to the stories that have travelled far beyond me, so much of my journey has been about learning to see differently.
And somehow, after all these years, I find myself coming home to where so much of it began.
This month, I officially become a Canon Ambassador.
It’s difficult to put into words what that means to me.
Because this isn’t just about a title. It feels like a full-circle moment. A reminder of the girl who picked up her first Canon 650D and simply wanted to make something beautiful.
She could never have imagined this.
I’m incredibly grateful for the journey, for every person who has believed in me, every story that has trusted me with its images, and every lesson that brought me here.
From my first Canon to this moment.
What a journey.
Thank you @CanonEMEApro @CanonCNA @CanonEMEA
Here’s to everything we’ve made, and everything still waiting to be seen. 🤍

Tomorrow, I'm joining ADMARP on X Spaces to talk about building a digital-first business in African markets. Stanley John of Quidax is on the panel, and Ejomafuvwe Paul moderates.
It's going to be a great time!
Join us by 6.30pm tomorrow.

The playbooks built for Silicon Valley don't survive contact with African markets.
So what does building digital-first actually look like here?
@Bukayor_BK and @stannleyjohnn are joining us on X Space this Thursday to get into it.

Hello everyone, Kayode here.
I’m going to do something I’ve never done before. I’m going to publicly beg for money.
I’m asking because I want us to help 50 students pass their WAEC and NECO examinations in 2027.
Over the years, every social impact project I’ve worked on has largely been funded from my own pocket. I’ve always tried to figure it out somehow, but the truth is, it has not been easy. And for this particular project, I don’t want my personal finances to determine how many young people we can help.
So this time, I’m asking for your help.
Through Build Your LYFE, we launching Project LEAP in November, an initiative focused on supporting 50 SS3 students with the learning, preparation, resources and guidance they need to confidently sit for WAEC and NECO next year.
We’ve already been doing the groundwork and working to bring the right people and partners together. Now we need your support to make it happen.
You don’t have to give a huge amount. ₦2,000, ₦5,000, ₦10,000, ₦50,000 or whatever you can genuinely afford will help us get closer to the goal.

And if you cannot donate, please help me share this with someone who can.
I strongly believe that sometimes changing a young person’s life simply means giving them access to an opportunity they otherwise would not have had.
I’m asking us to do that for 50 students together.
Please donate to Project LEAP. Every contribution counts. ❤️
