is AI making designers and developers obsolete, or is this the biggest opportunity we've ever had?
last week, @dancolta and I sat down for our first podcast together, and what was supposed to be a casual conversation turned into 2 hours of pretty honest discussions about building businesses in the age of AI:
we talked about:
- how AI is changing the way we design, develop, and build products
- the pivots we've made in our own businesses
- why traditional skills alone might not be enough anymore
- how creatives and software engineers can adapt and stay relevant
- the wins, failures, and uncertainties that don't usually make it onto LinkedIn
the full episode is now live on YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=hd5mdKAq…
would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you're navigating these changes yourself.
Me and @_julianbp recorded a podcast about the year AI hype got into both of our heads, mostly the stuff that went wrong and the anxiety of building things for a living when suddenly everyone can:)
⠀
We got into how our work changed once anyone could vibe code an app in a weekend, from my January where nobody came back to Julian watching new design work dry up for a while:)
⠀
nothing fancy, two guys on a couch saying it how it is (first episode btw, so go easy on us pls)
⠀
Full episode is on YouTube and i'll be posting some cuts from it over the next few weeks :)

13 years I built without talking about it.
I learned on my own.
I tested.
I failed.
I refined.
most people who know me still don’t know what I do.
In 2026, that changes.
I don’t fit into a title, but I operate on a few core drivers:
- I create.
- I build systems.
- I solve hard problems for people who play seriously.
that’s what led me to become a Creative Director for tech startups at critical moments - where credibility and first impressions make the difference between investment and failure.
grow or die.
in parallel, I help burned-out freelancers become business owners.
and design teams stuck in execution level up to senior thinking.
I’m 28.
13 years of accumulation.
this year, I start showing the work.
- the processes.
- the decisions.
- the mistakes.
not for validation.
but for those at the beginning of the road, looking for clarity and confidence.
if you’re a freelancer who knows you’re capable of more, or a designer stuck in execution and in need of real direction - follow along.

Tontravel (now @entravelX) – the Telegram-native hotel booking app for crypto users
In under 30 days:
- built the full app UX/UI
- designed the brand identity from scratch
- designed & built the landing page
- aligned it with launch @ Proof of Talk

spent the last 6 months with my team @ Onetap designing the UX/UI for @XoxnoNetwork’s new lending protocol.
excited to see it live 🔥
it’s one of the most user-centric & transparent lending protocols in web3. I may be biased - prove me wrong.
excited to see how the community uses it & what feedback rolls in.
feels like a big turning point for both XOXNO & @MultiversX 🚀
Lend. Borrow. Leverage on chain.
Swap collateral instantly.
Repay debt in one move.
See every position with full transparency.
Unlock the lowest fees on MvX.
The first fully open-sourced DeFi protocol has landed on @MultiversX 🚀

most freelancers can’t sell a $5k offer
not because they “don’t have the audience"
but because their positioning makes $5k feel like $50k.
here’s how to flip it so $5k feels like a no-brainer 🧵

not gonna lie, the new @cluely website UI slaps hard🔥
I'm glad that neumorphism is making a comeback, more badass than ever before.

I was bullet-journaling in a notebook for 10 years.
but when I found Notion, everything changed. this planner became my first digital system, and it’s still the one I use every day.
it helped me:
• stay organized
• plan months in advance
• manage chaos
• reach my goals
I’ve been using it to juggle multiple clients, ship work on time, and stay sane as a creative solopreneur.
today I’m sharing it for free.

just redesigned Onetap website.
new look. sharper offer. real outcomes.
we help seed-stage startups turn clunky MVPs into products users love and investors trust - in 45 days.
if your app still looks rushed and you’ve got a launch or demo coming up - book a call, it's free.

“The COCKROACH of startups.”
“You should NOT build this.”
“Classic example of a BAD app idea.”
that’s what judges told me… live… during my first-ever product pitch.

Parkswap Update #8
a guy liked my Parkswap demo and randomly invited me to pitch it at an event in Constanta - tomorrow.
never pitched a product to investors before.
chat, how do I not fuck this up?
(this is my deck)
i did it. i fucking DID IT!!
Parkswap Update #7
took me 3 days, countless refactors, broke the app like 54 times, almost quit.
but i kept pushing - and finally integrated Google Auth & Apple Pay!

tapped into app building as a product designer and it literally rewired my brain. now i wanna vibe-code apps that actually solve problems (and feel good doing it).
not about perfection. just about shipping ideas, fast.

found a ridiculously fast way to annotate my UI designs for handoff. no more endless threads about 'what does this button do?'.
kinda wish i learned this sooner. would it help you as a dev?

Bolt Hackathon - ParkSwap Update #2
After spending 10M tokens, I built nearly all core Driver POV flows. 🎉 Biggest pain in the ass was the seamless Driver/Host role switching, costing me 2M tokens.
To-do:
- Complete Host POV core flows (spot listing, approval, payouts)
- Fix filtering
- Integrate Google Maps
- Integrate payment system
- Clean up UI
- Remove unnecessary sections
- Implement new design system
- Design logo
- Fix minor UI/UX and animation bugs
- Tie up loose ends
- Test test test
- Publish on App Store
- Design and launch landing page
- Launch publicly across channels
My goal is to keep UX simple with essential features for quick launch: Drivers book and pay fast, Hosts list and get paid fast.
Seven days left until the hackathon ends, so I must hurry.

I'm building ParkSwap - Airbnb, but for your car 🚗 (update #1)
The idea is simple:
- Live in a crowded city? Instantly rent a private parking spot when you need it.
- Have an empty spot? Rent it out and earn cash.
As a car owner in Bucharest, I've spent countless frustrating hours hunting for parking, while residential spots stay empty or shamelessly taken by strangers.
Couldn't find a local solution, so I decided to fix it myself.
Built a raw prototype with bolt.new (pretty happy!), but wasted hours and 2.5M tokens fighting with Google OAuth flow and reverted back to old-school email/pass login for now 🤷♂️ (I’ll revisit it later)
Current focus: Nail core flows & test, test, test.
Next up (the fun part!):
[ ] Quick logo & brand identity
[ ] Lightweight Figma Design System (colors, fonts, components)
[ ] Landing Page
[ ] Online presence
[ ] Public launch
Next update coming soon.

Let’s redesign the @ChatGPTapp mobile UI.
I will make these videos to show how I think, how I solve problems, and how small changes can make a product feel 10x better.
If OpenAI ever adopts this - cool. But I’m not counting on it.
