If LinkedIn, X, Reddit or any other tech news source makes you feel like you're already behind on AI, most people outside this bubble barely use it or only use it for the basic stuff. ⠀ Plenty of open market left for anyone willing to test fast ⠀ Clip from my podcast with @_julianbp

Have you noticed how automations were supposed to give us time back, but instead a lot of us ended up working more? ⠀ Clip from my podcast with @_julianbp

is AI making designers and developers obsolete, or is this the biggest opportunity we've ever had? last week, @dancolta and I sat down for our first podcast together, and what was supposed to be a casual conversation turned into 2 hours of pretty honest discussions about building businesses in the age of AI: we talked about: - how AI is changing the way we design, develop, and build products - the pivots we've made in our own businesses - why traditional skills alone might not be enough anymore - how creatives and software engineers can adapt and stay relevant - the wins, failures, and uncertainties that don't usually make it onto LinkedIn the full episode is now live on YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=hd5mdKAq… would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you're navigating these changes yourself.
Me and @_julianbp recorded a podcast about the year AI hype got into both of our heads, mostly the stuff that went wrong and the anxiety of building things for a living when suddenly everyone can:) ⠀ We got into how our work changed once anyone could vibe code an app in a weekend, from my January where nobody came back to Julian watching new design work dry up for a while:) ⠀ nothing fancy, two guys on a couch saying it how it is (first episode btw, so go easy on us pls) ⠀ Full episode is on YouTube and i'll be posting some cuts from it over the next few weeks :) ⠀ youtu.be/hd5mdKAq0xM

Dan hit me up last week with an idea to record a podcast, and somehow we ended up talking for hours 😄 we got pretty real about running our businesses, how AI is reshaping design, development, the pivots we've made, and what it actually takes to stay relevant as a creative or software engineer today. no scripts, no filters, just two guys figuring things out as we go. had a blast recording this. cant wait to share the full episode!
Had a super nice week at home and recorded my first podcast with @_julianbp, which turned out way more fun than i expected. ⠀ We sat on a couch for a couple of hours talking through the year we both had, including the stuff people in our space usually keep to themselves 😅 ⠀ Being on camera that long is a different kind of tiring tho. Sharing the full episode here next week :)

29+1. The most transformative age isn’t 30. It’s the age when you realize you’ve been living inside a version of yourself that no longer exists. At some point, you stop becoming the person your younger self imagined. The career changes. Your ambitions change. The people you want around you change. Even the things you once considered “you” start to feel like costumes you forgot to take off. And yet, most people keep performing the old version. Same habits. Same stories. Same identity. Because there’s something psychologically comforting about being consistent. You can always explain who you are. You can point to your past and say: “This is me.” But your past is evidence of who you were. It isn’t a contract for who you have to become. Maybe getting older isn’t about becoming more of yourself. Maybe it’s about becoming less attached to the self you’ve already constructed. The hardest part of changing isn’t building something new. It’s admitting that something old has already died. And then having the courage to stop resurrecting it. There’s a strange freedom in realizing you don’t have to remain recognizable to people who knew you before. You’re allowed to outgrow your own biography. You’re allowed to contradict yourself. You’re allowed to become someone your younger self wouldn’t understand. Maybe that’s what maturity actually is. Not knowing exactly who you are. But knowing you’re allowed to change.

say hello to Eura 👋
Meet Eura. She lives inside the Pulsar app: showing you where your money is, surfacing what matters before you have to look for it, and making the smart move the obvious one. You'll be seeing a lot more of her.

A founder once told me: "Our product is better than most competitors, but our website makes us look smaller than we are." That stuck with me because I’ve seen it happen often. Strong teams, great products, real traction -- but the first digital impression doesn’t build enough confidence. That’s the Trust Gap: the difference between how good your company is and how trustworthy it feels online. I host the Trust Gap Audit to help founders identify where trust breaks down and what changes can improve credibility, clarity, and conversion. We look at: • messaging • UX • visual design • trust signals • competitive positioning The goal is surfacing the 20% of changes that can make the biggest impact. If your product is strong but your website isn’t communicating that strength clearly, the Trust Gap Audit is for you: trustgap.onetap.design/

A tax product should make you feel safer, not more anxious People already feel pressure around taxes, so the job of the design isn’t to look serious. It’s to reduce fear through: - simpler language - clearer next steps - less institutional tone - more human reassurance Many startups think trust comes from looking complex, but trust comes from making users feel: "I understand this." "I know what to do next." "I’m safe here." If you're wondering why visitors aren't converting (or why your product feels harder to trust than it should), join the next Trust Gap Audit on June 25, 4:00PM CET. You’ll see exactly how I identify the friction, confusion, and trust issues that hold products back. Link in the comments.
