I think we all suspected that Luton would win this from the moment the EFL reinstated them, exactly the kind of kicking the football gods love to give
Ian Foster levels of tactical flexibility going on from TC at the moment. Last two games have been against teams that regularly mix up systems - shows the levels required to be top six. Need to see
more. #pafc
Said this on @ArgyleLife1886 - I don’t feel the club’s “perilous” financial situation has registered.
No way we’re spending big in this window on 3-4 players, especially when Opta says we have a 3% chance of going up.
Looked like a football team with people moving about and passing forward, getting crosses in and overloading in wide areas. Madness
Argyle had a much better balance about them in their 4-4-2 formation against Orient, with players looking comfortable in their positions, and that led to a 1-0 Vertu Trophy victory in East London.

We did look a lot more threatening by not playing nine defenders and Tolaj. Got to hand it to Clevs there. #pafc
Had this horrible dream that we spent £9m on nonsense, there’s a £3m black hole in our finances, and we think Cleverley is a great coach and are going to let him stay forever.

Thank you to our listeners as ever - your engagement means a lot to us.

The problem (imo) in playing Bali as SS or a 10 is that he will naturally gravitate wide. Playing two banks of four, his heat map can’t look like this. I’d have him LM or RM and play Pato as the SS
