Intrigued at what this looks like because I'd suggest the style of football we were playing was pretty basic already 馃槀
馃煝 Tom Cleverley has gone 'back to basics' as the Pilgrims look to bounce back from successive defeats. Argyle travel to Cambridge and we'll have full commentary from 3pm on 95.7FM & DAB Countywide. #PAFC | @BBCDevon

That, is a big deal. U16s is one thing, but the cream of the crop play u15, u17, u19, u21 馃憦
Congratulations to Argyle keeper Tom Armytage, who has received an international call-up to represent England at the FIFA Under-15 World Cup 馃憦 Best of luck, Tom 馃挌

In two words, dogmatic and unsuccessful. Only managerial achievement was with Southampton, and that had to come through the play offs. Fourth placed finish and 9 from automatics. Failed upwards for far too long.
Plenty of managers are known for a possession-based style of football and take pride in their appearance. A plethora of them have a ginormous ego. Well, pretty much all of them. But none of the above seem to be castigated as much as the head coach of Leicester City, Russell Martin. So why is he the subject of a walking culture war? 馃摑 @TimSpiers 馃敆 nyti.ms/4BjVmms

Third time in six years. Is there some kind of seeding or regionalisation that I don't know about which makes us more likely to draw Mangotsfield at home in the FA Youth Cup?

Can't be hard to expand Fox's role. Aside from occasionally watching the first team train and no longer attending the fan's forums, what else was Fox doing before?

Ah yes, that retro badge we used for two seasons, two miserable seasons, back in the days of yore: 2009-2011. Retro.

Clearly the 4-4-2 is working at Cat 3 u18 level, but it's being absolutely ripped apart tonight. Midfield completely non existent. Tolcher and especially Campbell really struggling to get any meaningful possession and have hardly won the ball back all night

Ofc very important to factor in this is literally men against boys for the most part. Argyle's u18s (plus two seniors and Finn) versus Bournemouth's u21s

Outstanding player for Argyle has been Armytage in goal, not even an apprentice yet, u16. Looks VERY good. Have heard very good things since late last season, can see why. Ofc, received an England u16 call up this season, so not just highly rated in Devon #pafc

With a brilliant goal Saturday and a quality assist last week, Issaka has more National League goal contributions (2) than any Gateshead player, and the most completed dribbles (10), despite playing only a quarter of their league minutes (stats from @Sofascore) #pafc

Second highlight I think is a good contrast on the upgrade from Hazard to Cooper. I think Hazard stays on the line there, allowing the shot, rather than smothering it on the edge. Was very twitchy outside the six yard area.
An outstanding performance from our number 1锔忊儯

I'd say Cooper has thus far been as good of a shot stopper as Hazard, but significantly better sweeping, catching crosses and commanding the area, I think is a better communicator, and far better at short passing. Amusingly, I think Hazard's long passing might be better

I know we do lose a weapon without Harding's long throw, but Mackenzie is available and should be starting when fit imo.

Defensively that was woeful. Brilliant finish but crap press, so easy for them to move through the thirds.
