Thought this was one of Crowley's best lines of the night, countering Tiffany's persistent attacks on Act 12 and the sales tax:
"I worked with the Republican-controlled legislature to pass Act 12 that brought more money to every single city, town and village to invest in fire, invest in police, to invest in EMS services. As a matter of fact, your hometown of Hazelhurst got a 382% increase because of the deal that I brought to the table."

Incredible writing on an incredible closing track of an even more incredible album. Blond is beyond perfect. Beyond perfect. It’s why I never hopped on the “where is Frank Ocean? We need a new Frank Ocean album” train. Blond is more than enough. For this lifetime and all the lifetimes that follow it.

My first email to Eric: May 7, 2015. I asked if he wanted to write at @brewhoop. Yes. A year later we started Locked On Bucks. Then the Athletic where he set the standard covering the best Bucks teams of my lifetime. Congrats on a great run — see you at Rocky’s.
Personal update: After getting the opportunity to cover the Milwaukee Bucks for the last decade, I am moving to Miami for a new role covering the Miami Heat at @TheAthletic.
Leaving Milwaukee is going to be incredibly difficult, but I am excited for the new opportunity.

Eric is such a great example that you don’t have to be a sycophant to do great reporting and build trust/rapport with a superstar.
He’s one of the best in basketball.
