ALT Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 delivers on what the original entry in the series set out to do with better-looking characters, bigger stages, and a fleshed-out single-player mode. The addition of the new slime mechanics and a refined approach to a competitive platform fighter makes what could have easily been a soulless licensed fighter well worth the rather modest price of entry. Some of the cut characters from the first title are undoubtedly missed but this sequel shouldn’t share their fate. The PS5 version of the game receives a 4.5/5.
ALT Insomniac games has exceeded sky-high expectations by delivering, not only one of the all-time best gaming sequels, but one of the greatest games of this generation. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Story, side quests and combat immerse gamers in a carefully crafted New York City that newcomers and longtime comic fans alike will be sucked into until the game’s climactic ending – and then they’ll be left wanting more. This is one that PlayStation 5 owners can’t skip. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 receives 5 out of 5 stars.
