I took my kids into the desert for a night to watch the meteor shower. One day they might forget the details. I hope they remember looking up at the stars with me.

Regret is living in the multiverse. You mourn lives you never lived, obsess over outcomes you’ll never know, and torture yourself over realities you’ll never return to.

"I have always loved the desert. One sits down on a desert sand dune, sees nothing, hears nothing. Yet through the silence something throbs, and gleams." Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I spent years trying to save my toxic marriage for my kids. Then I realised that by saving myself, I was protecting them too.

Cheaters will always find a way to justify their actions and blame the world instead of taking accountability. If your partner cheated, it's not your fault, it's their decision.

For those who are struggling to reinvent themselves, I highly recommend following and subscribing. Nothing but a genuine and honest journey.
Five years ago I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. Since then I've become fascinated by one question: Why do some people grow through change while others become trapped by it? Human Agency Network is where I'm exploring that question through psychology, creativity and AI. First video is live. youtube.com/watch?v=1i-8uPRm…

Heading into the second semester of my first year as a full-time PhD student in midlife. Still adjusting to the madness, but starting to find my rhythm. This is the last stretch of courses. After this year, it’s research only. Then the real journey begins.

Ageism sucks. "Overqualified” and "culture fit" are bullshit reasons to mask discrimination and stupidity. It's about finding the best person for the job within salary constraints, not appealing to hiring managers' insecurities.

Today I’ll be presenting my first research proposal to my PhD seminar. I know it’s a supportive environment designed to improve the work, but my nervous system appears to believe I’m being publicly executed.
