Every time @GovStitt brags about keeping Oklahoma “open” during COVID, please remember that our state’s COVID death rates are among the highest in the nation. We lost more friends, neighbors, parents, children, & siblings, than almost any other state. Don’t forget that, or them.

Fun part of being in #okleg is giving final approval for a bill to be filed and knowing that your phone and email are about to go off with people who don't like it. I call the game "How long will it take for someone to notice".

You should talk about your other Senate work, too! My favorite was the one requiring welfare recipients to pass drug tests before they can receive benefits.

Private development takes time. Government action takes time. When those things converge, they take A LOT of time. In 2016, while still in the Senate, I was approached about authoring a bill to make it legal for movie theaters to serve alcohol throughout their premises. (1/2)

Plenty of negativity in Oklahoma right now. Remember no one policy or one person can fix everything. Whether it’s wearing a mask in public or talk about our kids going back to school do it in a way that lifts others up. Being positive is contagious. Let’s share that for a change!
