This indicator is one of the leading signals I’m watching for the #ALTCOINS macro cycle. And the historical structure is VERY interesting. 👇 In 2019, this indicator printed a monthly bullish cross. That cross marked the beginning of a major macro reversal. But notice what happened next: → #ALTS formed a higher low → Monthly trendline eventually broke → The real expansion started Even the COVID crash failed to create a new macro low in the #ALTS market cap. After that, many of the alts that were still lagging exploded 200x–2000x during the broader cycle. Then we saw a very similar structure in 2023. The indicator printed another monthly bullish cross. Again: → Macro reversal → Higher low → Monthly trendline breakout → Major expansion And once again, the alts that were still lagging eventually delivered 30x–50x+ moves, excluding the coins that had already massively outperformed from the 2022 $BTC bottom. ⸻ Now look at where we are today. The same structural setup is developing again. But there is one major difference. Previously, the sequence was: Bullish indicator cross → Higher Low → Monthly trendline breakout This time, we’re potentially getting the bullish cross AND the trendline breakout around the same macro phase. The monthly candle still has ~10 days before close, so the breakout is NOT confirmed yet. But this is exactly why my eyes are glued to this chart. If history rhymes, the higher-low structure could be the final accumulation phase before the next major expansion. but if trendline breakout happens with the bullish cross then there’s no gurantee for last pullback and only up will continue… ⸻ And then there’s the macro Fibonacci structure. In 2021, #ALTS topped around the 1.618 Fibonacci extension. In 2024, the market once again rejected around the same 1.618 level (~$400B) without taking out the 2021 ATH. That makes the entire 5+ year structure look increasingly like a massive macro accumulation range. If that’s correct, the current move isn’t necessarily the end of the cycle. It could simply be the mid-cycle pullback before the larger expansion. And the level I care about most is the 1.618 Fib breakout. Because once #ALTS decisively breaks that macro resistance, the next major Fibonacci expansion on this chart sits around: $5.53 TRILLION — 2.618 Fib. That’s roughly 35x from the February 2026 bottom. I’m not saying price moves there in a straight line. There will be volatility, corrections and plenty of shakeouts. But structurally, this is the chart I want to watch if you’re trying to understand where the next major #ALTCOINS expansion could come from. Monthly bullish cross. Potential trendline breakout. 5+ year macro range. $400B (1.618) resistance. $5.53T (2.618) expansion target to upper trend-line where 2017 and 2021 cycles marked the top.
