Inspired by advice from former Quickway Transportation CEO Bill Prevost, Nussbaum initiated the ESOP transition to provide drivers with a wealth-building vehicle beyond standard 401(k) plans. Through quarterly financial meetings and annual stock valuations, drivers gain full transparency into company operations, creating an employee-owner mindset that directly drives operational efficiency and workforce retention.
