Pinning this for worthy challengers.

I’ve asked several deniers to account for just 0.001% of the people sent to Belzec, or about 50 people. I’m willing to provide train lists and lists of Jews to the extent that these things are available. No takers
The only way this analogy makes sense is if the Jewish people rained bombs down on Germany for two years straight
This is like literally every nationalist movement. If you’re trying to sound profound, maybe know something about your topic first
In 1919, the first Palestine Arab Congress convened in Jerusalem in opposition to Zionism and the Balfour Declaration. Its delegates called for Palestine to become part of Arab Syria.
In 1921, Filasṭīn declared, "We are Palestinians first, and Arabs second." By the Great Revolt of 1936–1939, opposition to Jewish immigration and national aspirations had become central to Palestinian Arab political mobilization.
Palestinian Arab nationalism developed, in response to Jewish Identity.
And therein lies the problem. A national movement that defines its success through opposition to another people's sovereignty risks making that opposition its permanent purpose.
How does such a movement achieve its own national aspirations if its political mission depends on denying those of another people?
Imagine putting the most important factor last and not seeing the relationship with the other factors
nelson mandela is probably the worst thing that ever happened to south africa.
what he did contributed to south africa's decline, leaving the country plagued by corruption, collapsing infrastructure, extraordinarily high rates of rape and violent crime, and the worst inequality in the world.
worse than a war criminal

B'nai Brith dropped their vexatious lawsuit against me for defamation because I wrote in the Hamilton Spectator that they are a racist anti-Palestinian hate organization when my lawyer informed them that my defense would be that it is true.
That was the end of the suit.
We should violate international law and give East Jerusalem to Israel so that David Friedman has a place to swim
I had the privilege today to visit Solomon’s Pools, the massive adjoining three reservoirs created more than 2000 years ago to bring water to the Second Temple.
This is an extraordinary archaeological site, but, under the control of the Palestinian Authority, it has fallen into disrepair and is marred by garbage and sewage. Indeed, the Authority warns people (in the sign below in Arabic) not to enter the pools because of the unsanitary conditions.
Imagine the physical and spiritual experience of being able to swim in these ancient pools, each larger than a football field. Under Israeli control, the pools could be restored to their ancient glory and that dream would become a reality. May it be God’s will in the near future.
“Butchering of the Jews”? Fucking where?
This is the globalization of the intifada. This is what the Israelis have been warning about since October 7.
The question is: How does the West respond to that?
There are many Jews hoping that all the Europeans who lectured the Jewish state, post-October 7, about exercising caution and respecting the "freedom-fighters" have learned a lesson, that they see now that the butchering of the Jews was but a prelude to the rampage of Paris. They are wondering whether the Europeans will rethink their knee-jerk anti-Zionism.
I doubt that.
The anti-Zionism, after all, is just a contemporary iteration of a deep, inextricable, almost timeless antisemitism. The Enlightenment, the revolution, the communards, the Dreyfus Affair, the Shoah -- none of that did anything to liberate the French (or anyone else) from their Jew hatred. There is no reason to think the barbarians smashing windows on the Champs-Élysées can accomplish what the Nazis or anyone else who came before were unable to.
In fact, the likeliest response to the ongoing madness will not be: Maybe we were wrong to castigate the Jews for standing up for themselves. It will be: The Jews brought this on us -- had they not responded to Hamas with such ferocity, had they just been good Jews and rolled over and let the terrorists kill their women and children, the Islamist horde wouldn't be setting fire to *our* schools and churches and town halls.
They will emerge from the darkness of right now even blinder than they were before it descended on them. They will channel all their self-loathing, their fury, their helplessness, toward the Jewish state, the Jews, The Jew: The Other. They will do anything to avoid staring into the proverbial mirror and thinking, really thinking, about how they arrived at this tragic juncture.
No. You’re getting this wrong, probably on purpose
The purpose of Morsi’s measures was to root out authoritarians from the police and press who had propped up Mubarak for 30 years. The letter AES signed expressed concern about Morsi wielding this power while agreeing w/the goal
I’m somewhere between amused and frightened by all the responses to this, including from some very prominent political commentators that the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt, having won a very narrow victory and election, was perfectly justified in establishing an authoritarian dictatorship to make sure it could preserve its power
Today I Googled “internalized misogyny”
When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about.
Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too.
Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day.
For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again.
Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate.
Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group.
It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.
You’re still alive?
