Wealth can ruin a person. If you're so smart, bring em closer to God.
Level 1: If you're so smart why aren't you rich?
Level 2: If you're so smart why haven't you created wealth for others?
Level Elon: If you're so smart where's your rocket?

ive followed jez for a while and read all his essays. @papertrade_xyz is creative art as much as the trading part yall are hyper focused on.
Creativity looks different for everyone because being creative is an internal, personal thing.
So when its an ex-quant/pro gambler, they might get creative with complex game theory and oracles.
I can tell he left breadcrumbs everywhere. This project feels like it’s very personal to him.
I don’t know bro personally but part of me is similar to part of Jez. And its clear to me this is his magnum opus of his blogs and tweets.
In that regard the project is super cool, and I give big props for the esoteric nature of the game. First good new thing in crypto in a while.
At the end of the day jez made a rollbit-meets-GMX perp venue with 0% VC + Team allocation that you are all talking about on a saturday.
every influencooor needs to have a take on the paper. meanwhile they shill you a dogshit perp dex with insidoor allocations and beg you to farm POINTS again.
zoom out and trust the paper my brothers
Once I became a $PAPER stalker it became clear.
I wasnt present for the Bitcoin genesis block. But I was there when papertrade opened deposits.
In 2009 we had the equitable origin for the libertarian cypherpunk.
Today we witnessed the same for the modern nihilistic speculator. Up Only.
My finances are in such a funny place where most people would consider it extreme risk. The same people who are all in crypto and stock indices, levered on metropolitan real estate. a big basket of levered correlated shit. thinking theyre smart.
I'm allocated to a handful of obscure, uncorrelated, illiquid assets. That's the real financial safety in case you havent realized it yet.
I've been down a rabbit hole of ancient religions lately, attempting to understand the various viewpoints on God and Self. How do they each answer the big questions of life? I've had many mystical experiences recently that sparked my curiosity.
Since I was a kid I tend to naturally strengthen my own beliefs by steelmanning the opposite view. I loosely hold a belief until I understand the opposite side. (This is one reason I was drawn to shortterm speculation, I enjoy the flipflop bull-bear nature of it all)
One core concept that differentiates the major spiritual frameworks is how you think about "will"... said a different way; whose will REALLY runs this shit? whose will controls your life? is it ultimately your own will, is it God(s), is it both, neither ?
It's made me realize that my core spiritual idea is based on divine will. Any spiritual belief I try to reconcile has to be rooted in this concept since my life experience so clearly points me in that direction.
My life is magical when try to walk in accordance with a divine will. And my life is tragic when I operate solely based on MY will. (me me me)
It's something I first really understood in addiction recovery. "Thy will be done". Powerful concept that I hope I never forget.
Since my post below on july 23rd, too many positive things have happened in my life that it would take a long essay to explain.
Simultaneously I've had some dark challenges surface. We've had unprecedented loss in the family, a loved one leaving us too soon. I feel called to support my parents in ways that only a son could.
I'm reminded that such quotations are cliché for a reason; with meditation, prayer, and surrender of will, no challenge is too dark and no goal is too lofty.
In fact we all are much more capable than we could ever imagine. in the wake of dark times, I've had legitimate miracles happen and observing daily signs reminding my large, stubborn head to be open to much bigger opportunities.
And when I just slow down and surrender, the next action (or most of the time, inaction) becomes obvious.
God is love. God is good. And shake is shake, steadily falling and getting back up again.
