@chartier Cydia works similar to the Apple App Store when it comes to updating, you have to open it up and check.

.@Engadget, @BGR, and @Gizmodo are all touting MobileNotifier for jailbroken iPhones. @NotifiedApp is 1000x better and far less intrusive.
