Geese are good pets. They also have strong opinions, but are willing to hear other opinions. Geese may also honk if provoked, sometimes at very strange hours.

We don’t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered “shaheds” that attack our civilians and kill families. Starlink wasn’t turned off – its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered “shaheds.” We couldn’t use a tool that helps protect people. That’s very painful and frustrating. We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldn’t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink. Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes. From a conversation with media representatives in Brussels. (2/3)

Still waiting for @elonmusk to thank @ZelenskyyUa for helping to expose the breadth and depth of the bot problem on this platform. That's what you want, right Elon? Is there any reason why you wouldn't want that?

If I told you what Republicans were actually doing right now, you wouldn't believe me — you would think I was lying, that it's actually too cruel and corrupt to be true But it's true 10 things Republicans have done in the last 10 days 🧵

POV: you're about to find out why senior devs spend weeks/months on database design.
Today I wrote 1000+ lines of code using @prisma . And literally it takes only 3hr to design the database. Now I am exhausted and I think I deserve some goodies

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸 Let us honor the emblem of our nation and the stars and stripes that unite us all. As we display our nations flag and reflect on the values it represents, let’s celebrate the freedom, courage and resilience that makes our country great.

The most difficult thing to accept for a really amazing number of people is that there really is no plan, no genius, no serious strategy, behind 90 percent of the stuff Trump does. The last ten percent is mostly stuff people around Trump are doing that he doesn’t understand.

Sorry, Ukrainians. Please know that millions of Americans know the fact that Putin started this war — this invasion of your country— by himself without provocation.
A day after Russia’s deadliest attack against Ukraine this year which killed more than 30 people attending Palm Sunday services, Trump blames not Putin but Biden and Zelensky for “allowing this travesty to begin”

This is madness. Chris Krebs was a public servant, a GOP appointee, who *did his job* ensuring the 2020 election was secure. For our government to target him like this is appalling & Stalinesque. Any person who reveres our constitutional republic should speak out against it.
“Chris Krebs… this is a man who weaponized his position against free speech in the election context… this instructs your department of justice.. to investigate..” Trump: This guy is a wise guy. This is the most secure election the history of our country! No this was a disaster.

BREAKING: Blackrock CEO Fink says that he worries that Trump’s actions are much more inflationary than the markets expect, and the economy is weakening as we speak. He also says that he sees a 0% chance of four or five interest rate cuts this year, and sees a chance of interest rising. Additionally, he says that he is troubled that America is currently destabilizing, and doesn’t rule out another 20% market decline from here. He also warned that Trump’s tariffs will weaken the US Dollar and that we are probably in a recession right now.

Literally nothing but downside here. Musk has nothing to contribute, as he lacks military experience, says stupid shit constantly, and falls for ridiculous lies almost daily. Plus, he's a gigantic blackmail target, given that his personal life is a catastrophe. Fucking lunacy.

Actually @SecScottBessent, it is. Tariffs are good as a means to bring nations like China to the table, but free trade lowers the costs of goods and improves the quality of life for every American.
