Here's 10 minutes of me screaming and suffering choosing this as my first horror game. I've never played horror games before (other than Resident Evil 9) and I chose this game because I thought it had no jumpscares like FNAF.

The Halloween festivities are coming to #MarvelRivals this season, featuring 9 spooky new costumes for Devil Dinosaur, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Deadpool, Rocket Raccoon, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Scarlet Witch, and Black Cat.
I still remember how nice and welcoming people were when I came back from my break and started talking. Some I only met once or twice in comp but nonetheless gave me well wishes and push me to continue expressing myself. I remember being moved to tears by the positivity of people who show genuine kindness and compassion when realizing the difficulty someone is going through.
And ultimately that’s what I always wanted people to understand and relate, treat others with kindness because it can be felt and spread around. Don’t give in to bigotry, be the standard you choose to create for this game and make someone laugh or smile, even if it’s a dumb and whimsy joke. Take a gamble that kindness exists, and do a kind act!
Despite all the turmoils of the game’s community, I fundamentally believe that we all realize we’re all just playing a video game, trying to have a good time and have fun. So we might as well have fun together and come out of it with a positive experience ! :)
okay, its finally time to say probably the most important thing ive every had to say in the marvel rivals community. unfortunately, someone needs to be the school teacher at recess telling the kids to knock it off and go back to playing RESPECTFULLY.
I think right now we are so wounded as a whole. rivals removed hate speech as a reportable offense, people are receiving an uptick of hateful comments, and we are all feeling it. theres this tension in the community. like, everyone is a wounded animal
but, I think the marvel rivals community is still good. at its core, we have the strength to be good.
but what about the hateful comments? the slurs? the homophobia?? the racism??
if someone is slinging slurs and being hateful? they arent one of us. I wont tolerate them being apart of us. report, block, and do not engage. I think we must stop giving these hateful people any reaction, because I think thats what they want. they want to see us mad, they want to get under our skin, because they are not one of us, and it brings them some sick twisted form of joy.
these bigots? I want us to forcefully shut them out. block. report. we arent ignoring them, we are turning our backs on them, systematically removing the cancer from our body. they arent a part of us. I want them to feel like outcasts in the shadows, estranged from a warm, loving family, because they are. they should be.
and do you know why I KNOW they arent a part of us? because I have SEEN when the marvel rivals community comes together, I have SEEN and FELT the love and compassion yall have, not just for this game, but for each other.
when knuten needed help to pay his mother's thousands of dollars in medical bills recently, the entire rivals community showed up and helped him reach his goal, AND THEN SOME, almost instantly.
I see our kindness, I feel our love.
but currently, I think we are acting more like a wounded animal than a family. we are hurting, impulsive, and looking to bite any hand for the quick satisfaction of tasting blood, including the ones that feed us.
when I shared my (almost) cancer diagnosis, I felt the collective come to my side, a friend to lean on as my days grew tiring and hard. i knew i could count on yall to bring some light into my darkest hours.
I see our community as a family.. but we dont always treat each other in this way, we act out, we call each other names; we forget we are all trying our best to do good... and, we bite.
please, treat each other with kindness. and let's kick those bigots to the side, they have never been apart of us.
(to be clear: im not saying we should stay silent when a figure in our community NEEDS to be held accountable, im just saying try to lead with more compassion and understanding than we have been recently)

I need help.
Hello everyone, this isn't easy for me.
My mom is in cancer treatment, which is paid for by the government. However, we cannot afford the dental treatment for my mother's teeth falling out due to everything. I've given my mom every penny I have, and the rest we cannot cover because my mom is in debt and the medical loan was rejected by the bank. I don't know what else to do, and after talking with some close friends in the community, I've decided to reach out here. It's not fun for me, and I feel disgusting, but I'd literally die for my mother.
The idea is as follows: Coming next weekend, 2/10–4/10, I'll be doing a subathon with a charity tournament on 3/10. The medical bill is €3,100, and any excess will be donated towards cancer research. There will be goals for the donation bar, the last one being me shaving my head. I need ideas for more goals and ideas for the tournament. Anything is appreciated.
