As you may know, I love building with Bubble and want everyone else to love it too! I set out with the goal of creating a comprehensive Bubble course which is both beginner-friendly but also covers advanced topics in an accessible way. I remember exactly what it was like starting out on my Bubble journey - I found (and still find) it annoying when tutorials would brush over details and assume knowledge, often because the teacher is a former coder whose brain is hardwired with this information. I’ve never been a coder, I’ve always been “non-technical”, so I’ve done my best to explain everything as I would want it explained. If there are checkbox options in the interface, I’ll explain what they all mean even if they’re not relevant at that moment! There are a few sections I’m especially proud of, like the one on APIs - I was intimidated by them for the longest time and it took me years to pluck up the courage to dive in. So in this course I’ve made an effort to take away the fear and explain them from first principles, including spending a lot of time just talking through API documentation (this is most of the battle). If you’ve ever struggled with APIs, this is for you. And if you’re interested in AI, most of the API section uses Open AI as our use-case, so we kill two birds with one stone. I also know it’s hard to stay motivated when watching video courses so I’ve included several live builds where we go through an entire app build from start to finish and I explain every decision along the way. I'm going into building and shipping mode in the next few months. But the first thing I'm going to be launching is something I've needed for a while. It's a directory of @bubble freelancers. Freelance Bubble projects are the main source of income for my family. But I'm totally disorganised about how I do it. - I don't have a portfolio or any client testimonials. - I have periods where I have no projects and no income. - When I'm busy I get client leads but have nowhere to send them So I decided to build a central location for Bubble freelancers to showcase their work, collect testimonials, and send leads to others.
