45 years ago tonight we did the first of two nights at the Marquee Club in Wardour Street, Soho London.
There happened to be a studio at the back of the club so A&M who we had just signed to thought it might be a good idea to record and film the two nights.

Great album. It’s been amazing to see them play it in full at various anniversary shows at the Flowerpot. I even sang a verse of I can’t quit you baby at the Musician. We used to do that song with my band so I had been singing along and Denis swung the mic round to me. Amazing.
