It was wonderful to have Melbourne Lord Mayor, @Nicholas_Reece , visit Lort Smith Animal Hospital today.
Nick visited our North Melbourne hospital to talk to staff and see the wonderful work that happens here every day after we were awarded a Melbourne Award in the Community category last year.
He got to see firsthand, pups, cats, and even a lorikeet receiving the exceptional care and treatment Melbournians expect from our almost 90-year-old hospital.
Nick also met with 10-month-old Jessie who is currently available for adoption and three-month-old kittens Crumpet and Squid.
A big thank you to the Lord Mayor for a very enjoyable morning where we found out he had previously actually adopted a cat from our shelter!
