Many people think that Child Marriage leads to teenage pregnancy but a survey in Uganda shows that teenage pregnancy leads to child marriage by forceful marriage of underage girls who get pregnant! The lesson here is that provision of comprehensive age appropriate sex education and provision of comprehensive sexual and reproductive services can be an effective approach to reducing early and forced child marriages allowing girls to be women of their dreams as @NicePlaceFound says @Amref_Uganda @Amref_Worldwide

Choosing to support girls is not a choice against boys. NO! It’s a choice against prevalent gender discriminatory practice’s that significantly hold girls behind like FGM, Early Childhood Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy. It’s a choice to a commitment to closing the EQUITY gap.
