We released v1.14.13 today which fixes an issue introduced in 1.14.0. If you are running a version of geth that 1.14 or later, please update to the newest version. Nodes running v1.13.x are not affected

I am really looking forward to testing the improvements in @Podman_io v5 with @NiceNodeApp. We should see big improvements to running nodes on Mac!

As 2023 comes to an end, I reflect on the contributors that have given so much to the project. These are two very special people who have been with us from the beginning, over a year and a half ago.
Since May 2022, @_corn_potage has implemented ALL of the UI interface components, major features like notifications, settings, and wallet connections - and so cleanly implemented nicenode.xyz. He brings a very rare initiative to contribute and attention to detail without requiring direction. Through every step of the way, including a period in the Summer of 2023 when I was contemplating to stop development, @_corn_potage has been there and a steadfast support.
Since June 2022, @ddannehh has designed every last detail of NiceNode for us to implement, and if something doesn’t look, it is because we didn’t finish adhering to his Figma designs 😅. More than a designer, he spent much time researching the requirements and common problems to running nodes to provide the best possible UX.
Beyond development and design, @_corn_potage and @ddannehh provide valuable input on most important decision making - how we can relentlessly simplify the UX of running a node, risks and priorities, and communications. A major thank you from me to them for their support in 2023!
