Based. I spent a day reading thru the archive at the Newberry a few years ago. Many of the figures in the Dill Pickle Scene remind me of certain TPOT personalities. The scene had surprising ideological diversity, despite being associated with the Wobblies (IWW)
Director/writer Roman Coppola visited today to view materials related to the Dill Pickle Club, the 1920s-era Bohemian nightclub and free speech forum. We had a chance to visit the original entrance to the club, now a brick wall in an alley that extends east from Dearborn.
