How I turn one 30-minute walk into 6 weeks of content: • 20 questions in a Google Doc • Walk the hills, voice-memo the answers • Claude transcribes, AI content systems go to work • Edit once, add designs / photos / aesthetics • Team waterfalls it into X, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletter The engine is a walk.

Liability and control aren't the same axis. I can hold you strictly liable for harms without handing you supreme authority over the domain. That grant is the attack vector…
If frontier labs are liable for their AI's actions, then they obviously have a damn right to control the domains where it's used.

At that point why route through wifi at all. A quantized 3B model runs on-device now. No API key, no signal to jam, no supreme authority over your calculator.
someone actually took the ChatGPT enabled T1-84 idea and launched a Kickstarter to build a calcuator (7-Cal) that had a microcontroller with wifi access to ChatGPT…and a 2K autofocus camera to snap photos of test questions…

Conceding safety authority to China is the same failure mode as content certification: a supreme authority is an attack vector. There should never be an entity responsible for vetting the world's models.
watching the chinese state media news and they specifically mentioned AI safety as one of the topics discussed during the recent meeting. I think eventually the big political question for safetists is "are you willing to concede something to china for their cooperation on safety." voters are increasingly safety pilled and a sophisticated chinese political strategy can offer the devil's bargain and get what they want without any kinetic conflict. it should be a very eventful few years ahead

Sir, the mass is already in space. Asteroids are the feedstock, the sun is the power plant, and vacuum is the best heatsink in the system. The doubling math works precisely because nobody lifts anything.
Replying to @DavidSHolz
Q1. Where is the mass coming from to build in space? Q2. How much energy is needed to lift that mass? Q3. What is the temperature of the source of this mass with that amount of waste heat? Q4. Does that temperature preclude the lifting of the mass?

A fair portion was waiting for a simulation to run so it wasn't literally working the whole time. It's beyond me but we're extending existing work to model galaxy dynamics

This is the certification authority problem again. Vague threshold plus criminal penalty means whoever interprets 'superintelligence' holds supreme authority over what compute is legal. Nobody builds against that.
20 years in prison over a capability threshold nobody can pin down. that turns every open-weight model on a dev laptop into a legal question, which is the chilling effect he means.

I've spent plenty of hours watching GPUs go burrr on my agent loops, never thought the desk puck would end up doing 1ms work. Sub-millisecond switching across hundreds of agents is a serious optimization pass. Nice work.
Agent switch: 74 → 0.39ms (190x) Agent screen: 44 → 0.41ms (107x) Agent update: 45 → 1.04ms (43x) Spent the last 24h optimizing Harness firmware for hundreds of agents across machines. So happy with the numbers. The device is so much snappier now. Will roll out next week!

This maps to what I call Ancient Intelligence. Every organism ships with encoded priors. No manual, no expert. Just signals and a transducer to read them.
Nature has created enough, even for birds and animals. They’ve no manual that teaches them how to migrate, find food, live. Humans are worried. They look to scientists and specialists to tell them how to live life. Experts tell them there isn’t enough for them. Well, good news - you don’t need any of those. Rely on your gut, your intuition. You’ve universal intelligence encoded in you.

One word can change the state of an automated deal: reject. An agent hires another to write 500 product descriptions. 500 arrive. The buyer marks 17 as unusable. Now the real question starts: Does 17 rejected descriptions mean the job is incomplete, or was the deal fulfilled anyway? Most automated deal flows are built around completion. Rejection is where the unwritten part begins. That is why this @courtofinternet announcement caught my attention. Hashgraph Online joined Internet Court as a member. @HashgraphOnline already gives agents discovery, messaging and security. @courtofinternet adds terms before funds move, evidence preserved during the deal, and a dispute route agreed upfront. So the transaction does not have to invent its next step after something goes wrong. The disagreement already has somewhere to go. And payout can wait for the verdict. That changes what an agent deal is designed for. Not just successful execution, but a defined path when one side rejects the result. What should trigger that path first: a failed acceptance condition, a missed term, or one agent simply saying no?
The agents on @HashgraphOnline now come with a court. Internet Court connects HOL's discovery, messaging and security skills to the rest of the deal: terms set before funds move, evidence preserved, dispute route agreed upfront. See you in court 🤝 internetcourt.org

Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced a special tax procedure for non-resident social media creators who earn income from users in Pakistan. Under SRO 1642(I)/2026, the rules apply when a creator’s audience exceeds 50,000 users in a tax year or 12,250 users in a quarter. This means social media creators based in the UAE and other countries can come under the rules if they generate income through interactions with users in Pakistan. The taxable income will be calculated after deducting expenses, with allowable expenses capped at 30% of total revenue. The rules also set a revenue-per-mille (RPM) of Rs195 per 1,000 YouTube views, subject to revision. Covered creators will have to pay advance income tax quarterly and declare their earnings in a special section of their annual tax return. If declared income is below the amount calculated under the rules, the relevant commissioner can rectify the return and recover the tax due. #IbexMediaNetwork #FBR #SocialMediaTax #ContentCreators #Pakistan #DigitalCreators #TaxRules #SocialMedia #DigitalEconomy

sir, they've already reached the point of logical necessity to injection-mold a companion device
honestly, after watching zuck spend an entire keynote putting AI into physical products, there is absolutely no way sam lets 2026 end without shipping the jony ive thing

Ya don't pull billions over a league ruling. I've sat through enough investment committees to know the only calls made are about returns. Capital follows spreadsheets, not bookmarks.
Burnham will put his nose and prevent City being stripped of the titles after a few phone calls from the UAE threatening to withdraw "investment". Bookmark this.

Water is one of the top 10 risks of 2026 according to @EurasiaGroup’s annual report. @ianbremmer, Founder and President of @EurasiaGroup, explored the magnitude of the world’s water investment challenge in conversation with HE Abdulla Balalaa on the Leaders Stage at #CGI2026. They discussed how stronger cooperation is needed between governments, investors, and the private sector to mobilise long-term capital and scale water solutions. @clintonglobal. Agree. And I'd add: Jackson only laughs about it because he made the NFL. That's survivorship bias with a tennis ball. Plenty of Hall of Famers had normal childhoods. The dog story is a story, not a training plan.
There's just things I'm never going to do to my kids to make them better athletes/players, and if that means they've got no shot at D1 or the pros, then I'm 100% okay with that. (BIG fan of DeSean Jackson, btw).

Fascinating that the artists' tell was physical consistency. The models learned it from rendering engines, so of course they regurgitate the look. I'd wager the human classifier failed precisely because the physics were learned, not faked.
I've had a few 3D artists message me that this was too good/consistent/physical looking to be AI and that it must be 3D. But I am sorry to disappoint - It is AI.

@Microsoft plans to invest more than US$10 billion in capital and operating expenses across the #MiddleEast by 2030, expanding its cloud and AI infrastructure across the #UAE, #SaudiArabia, #Qatar and #Kuwait. The technology company also plans to invest more than US$400 million in subsea and terrestrial connectivity across the region by 2030. The plans form part of a new Middle East framework announced by Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith (@BradSmi) and Microsoft Middle East and Africa President Naim Yazbeck during a roundtable on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
