What if one reason things are worse is guys stopped being better than their dads? In previous generations, you were supposed to move the needle. Dad worked with his hands so you could work with your brain. Dad moved to a new world so you could succeed in it. That doesn’t happen anymore. Dad is a partner at a law firm so you can be a crypto trader? An influencer? That’s not progress, it’s atrophy. That affects you on a psychological level. There are rare exceptions of men born into privilege finding drive but most guys today are forever sons.
