IMO I highly recommend looking at a games public retention instead of reading reviews. It’s a much better indicator than some guys opinion, and you also learn dramatically more about the game without any bias.

For context, the average completion I see is usually 30%. Anything above that is usually tied to the goats depending on the length.

The reason I ask is on YouTube I try to create the best vibes I can in the gaming space, but Twitter is a different beast that only ever seems to propagate my hot takes, and decisive opinions. It makes sense if it skews negative, but I wanted to hear directly from yall.

Hot take, this will do more harm than good. The ab thumbnail tool is already a nightmare, and something like this feels too risky to the long form viewer experience.

I don't usually ruminate on anything negative like this, but this company has overwhelmingly done everything it can to NOT listen to its fans and ruin the brand even after a rebranding. Nobody should be allowed to fail for 14 years straight, absolutely based move by Microsoft.

No one cares about the RE story beyond umbrella corp bad and zombies. It’s the gameplay that matters and is what most people care about. In that respect this movie is such an amazing homage to the RE gameplay, done in such a fun way for a feature film.
