Just got some amazing new grant and manuscript news! I will hiring at least one ML engineer in the very near future - please reach out if you’re interested and/or spread the word! We will be working w/live cell, cryoEM, mass spec, ephys, and RNAseq data. More deets soon.
My turn: Academia and I are undergoing a conscious uncoupling. I gave Academia most of my twenties, until I learned that it didn’t love me back. Due to these irreconcilable differences, I am moving on to a new position as an image analyst in mid-May!
If you even have an inkling you'd enjoy this course, DO IT!!! Easily the most valuable 2 weeks of my life, and it completely transformed my research and career path.
How can machine learning help you to analyze your microscopy images?
Find out at the "Deep Learning for Microscopy Image Analysis" course at the @MBLScience in Woods Hole from Aug 21-Sep 5!
Applications are due 🚨 May 18 🚨

SO excited to share this (hugely collaborative) study! @IG_lab
We discovered #HIV/#HepC cross-reactive #antibodies with broadly neutralizing and Fc-mediated anti-viral activity. Somatic hypermutation plays a critical role in developing this unique reactivity. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Wow!! Amazing work by my dear friend @PilewskiKelsey. Cross-reactive antibodies are my new favorite topic! Turns out, these antibodies Dr. Kelsey isolated can react with both HIV and HCV, and one even with other viruses 🤯Check it out!!
