He says states & FEMA are bidding against each other for necessary equipment and it doesn't make sense.

We heard that Donald Trump only cares about the big stuff that helps him personally.
The question now is — what do we care about? The Constitution? Our oath of office?

Really enjoyed this wide-ranging conversation with my twin, the ever thoughtful and humorous @ezraklein. Loneliness is more consequential than we think - but we have also underestimated the power of social connection to improve our health, performance, and even our politics.
There’s a part of this podcast about loneliness with @Vivek_Murthy I can’t stop thinking about. I’ve heard the stats that loneliness is worse for your health than obesity, or smoking, but I didn’t understand the mechanism.
