Plagiarizing Patrick says what he “copied” isn’t plagiarism because ….. if you just leave the page with the plagiarism, click on a 2nd page, then click on a 3rd page, you’ll see the evidence that he copied it from someone else’s website. Honest people call that plagiarism. 🧵

No. But it is arrogant to keep blabbing about something you clearly know nothing about while pretending you’re somehow above correction. Ignorance can be fixed. Arrogance works very hard to keep it.

As a Calvinist you cannot say that you have 100% certainty neither because you never know that you belong to the chosen ones. There is only evidence. You can trust as much as you want but there is always a chance that you aren’t chosen.

Even your first statement is incorrect. These two concepts are related, but they describe completely different things. They are simply not the same. Perseverance of the saints: true believers (the chosen ones) are eternally secure and will ultimately persevere in faith. OSAS / Free Grace eternal security: a person who genuinely believed in Christ is permanently saved, even if they later cease believing, apostatize, or fail to persevere. You seem to be struggling even to distinguish between the simplest concepts. How can you possibly think you’re capable of properly understanding these areas of tension? And now to your logical fallacy: You can have some or even strong evidence that you are elect, but how can you claim absolute certainty now if, according to your own theology, future apostasy could reveal that your present faith was never saving faith? Right up until your death, there is ALWAYS the possibility that you might fall away, because you were never really one of the chosen ones. So how can you say you’re 100% certain, when only the chosen ones are saved and you don’t know whether you’re one of them? I’ll answer that for you: you can’t. You can’t be 100% certain. Logically, that’s impossible.

Typical Ryan. Immediately moves the goal post. OSAS is not the same as perseverance of the saints. He clearly is questioning Ryan’s belief that a person who trusts God on one specific day may not trust him tomorrow or even years later and fall away.

This is a great explanation of why Catholics pray to Mary. Ryan is interviewing either actors or infants in Catholicism. If you really want to know, watch Kenny Burchard explain. You may not agree, but at least you’ll know why we do. youtube.com/watch?v=Gt78W18D…

“Mary pray for me” Ryan: This is evil. Why not go straight to God? “Ryan pray for me” Ryan: I will 😂

Brother you destroy your own argument. Please stop turning my brothers in Christ to heresies. Please. I just prayed for you.

You can lose a free gift, Ryan. There is NO analogy in any area of life in which a person who receives a free gift cannot lose it, throw it away, misuse it, or otherwise misappropriate it through their own dereliction and abdication. It's obvious, day after day, that you eschew the biblical material about human responsibility, and the reason for that may actually be about something going on in your own life that you're ashamed of, and you may even wonder if God could "let you into heaven" with it in your life. That would be my guess as someone who has pastored people for 20 years of my 40-year walk with Jesus. If we were friends who could speak in private, my guess is that you (if you felt safe) would actually let the cat out of the bag! This would not be a YouTube video about your favorite verses, but rather a conversation about what is actually happening in your own life that creates the need to constantly thunder about how dislocated obedience to Jesus is from salvation in Jesus. Something in YOU needs to believe this. I wonder why? But the fact is, BOTH things are true: Salvation is a FREE GIFT, and it can be lost. Let me end with a personal analogy. I've been married since December 12, 1992. On my wedding day, my wife gave me a gold ring. It was free. I did not earn it. I wore it, and it told everyone around me I was married. Then, in 1994, while I was painting my office at the Church where I worked, I set it down next to the hose outside, washed my hands of paint, and then could not find that FREE GIFT. I lost it. But how? It was a FREE GIFT? Easy. I was irresponsible with it. My wife did not ask for it back, and did everything in her own domain to give it to me freely, but I lost it. Then she bought me another. Exactly 8 years later, I lost that second ring in the Church office! This time I lost it while replacing the sink in the private restroom in my office when it fell into the plumbing in the wall as I was working with slimy wet old plumbing. I couldn't find it. So - I lost it. A free gift. My wife didn't take it back. Then, when I moved to Virginia I lost a THIRD ring by taking it off and forgetting where I put it. My wife said, "This time you can get a cheapy on Amazon" - so the ring I wear now -- the FOURTH ring cost me $11 on Amazon. What's the point? The person who receives a FREE GIFT is responsible to steward what he has been given and he can lose it. Again, there is NO analogy in life for a circumstance where a person, having been given a free gift, canot lose it, even if the giver never takes it back. And How shall WE escape if WE NEGLECT so great a salvation? Heb. 2:3 Remember - Jesus has become the source of eternal salvation to all who _______ him. What's the word that goes in the blank? Find it in Heb. 5:9. You can lose your salvation. Pastorally speaking, it's highly likely that your ongoing online war against the imperative call to obedience (without which no person can fulfill the Great Commission- Matt. 28:18-20) is related to something going on in the depths of your own life that has you projecting your fear of this as confidence and railing against Catholics and others who embrace ALL SCRIPTURE (vs. your curated proof-texts), and your tendency to use these weak and terrible arguments on your X and YouTube account.

A few verses back Luke 7:47” Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven as her great LOVE* has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Ryan is deceiving people by telling half-truths.

Don’t be like Ryan and be a hypocrite. Ryan says faith in Jesus alone saves, yet denies people who profess their faith in Christ every day will be saved unless they agree with what Ryan believes and do what he says. That means by his own definition, it’s not “faith alone”. Ryan isn’t intelligent enough to be having these conversations.
