Inspired by the possibilities of digital technology in the creation and performance of their music, and working with our partners at @UniofNewcastle, @mediale_uk and AMP at @weareproto, these artists will get support and training to make turn their ideas into reality.

You can sniff & taste your way around the installation & meet fun characters along the way. It even has a maypole - which is very apt considering it's the 1st of May! We'll be welcoming more groups over the coming days. More about #SensoryWorld >> tinyurl.com/22vdw9tp

This week we hosted the Sensory World installation by @EveryoneHereCMA which transformed our SEN Centre into a sensory masterpiece. The event has created incredible, diverse spaces that explore the senses and learners are free to explore at their own leisure and pace.

I too once thought there was a lesser of two evil. And then I witnessed the events of 2012 to present. The system is the problem, folks. You can’t keep investing in your own oppression & then asking why the oppression never ends. 🤷🏾‍♀️

this does not look like a “Hunt for Hamas”
The Guardian has created a stunning visual map of the scale of destruction in Gaza. Homes, mosques, libraries, churches, schools, universities -- everything that makes civil life possible -- erased. theguardian.com/world/ng-int…

The Olive tree of Vouveson on the island of Crete, Greece, is one of the oldest olive trees in the world. Scientists from the University of Crete have estimated it to be 4,000 years old, which means that, when it sprouted, the last mammoths were still walking on Earth, someone in China was discovering bronze casting and the seventh Egyptian dinasty was declining. The Minoan civilization was thriving and its monumental architecture was adorning the island of Crete. The first stones of the Palace of Minos at Knossos which inspired the myth of the Minotaur were laid. This tree saw the humans deeds for thousands of years, from the Bronze Age to the artificial intelligence and, possibly the most amazing thing, it continues to produce olives at every season.
