Honored to keynote the inaugural @NSCA Northwest Performance Sunmit in Oregon, emphasizing on Athleticism for Life, a goal we should all be striving for. My topic focused on sustaining athlete health after finishing your collegiate career. Key takeaways include: • Strength training and cardio in your 20-30s lay the groundwork for healthy aging, given physical decline after peaking in our 20s • Joints have limited capacity for intense exertion as we age • Processed foods and sugar pose significant health risks, especially with age • Consistency > Sporadic Peaks
