A man was among those who wished my daughter death in 2023. He called me blackmailed and threatened to kill me. I blocked him. This year, he called my line. He was stranded in a far away country by an airline, and needed my help to return to Nigeria. Believe me, it took extraordinary will power for me to attend to him, but I reminded myself that mine is a public office. I stayed up almost all night, making calls, pushing the necessary people, and guiding him. I had him safely flown home at no extra cost. I checked in on him the next day, informed him how to proceed with compensation claims, assigned an officer to his case, and blocked his number from calling mine ever again. If I could attend to that guy.......I would, and I have, attend to anybody. Have a good day.
You see this energy dissipated to pay close attention to @InibeheEffiong's concerns, I hope you @mikeachimugu01 and the NCAA team will replicate it if a non-politically exposed person raises similar concerns

So glad to read from you. Offering to help find a missing Nigerian is such a noble deed, and I don't take this for granted. Whatever way you can assist will be appreciated. From tracking her movement from the terminal to the hotel, to finding out if she has been held by security agencies, etc, or if she is on the run from abuse of any kind. Whatever your contacts can help us do, I'd appreciate.
Mr Achimugu , What can we do to help ? We the Nigerians in the Middle East community are more than willing to support with the process of ensuring our sister is safe in the blessed country of Qatar .

I have confirmed, via the airline, that CCTV shows your sister arrived safely, pick her bags, and exit the terminal. Because yesterday and today are more like public holidays for the guys over there, investigations are a little slow, but later today or tomorrow, we will be able to confirm if she arrived at the hotel she booked, and if she got there via the hotel pick up vehicle. Every Qatar visa booking must be tied to a specific hotel reservation. In some cases, passengers arrive at the hotel booked, and then leave quietly. DISCOVER QATAR will check to confirm the name of her hotel, and whether your sister did, indeed, get to the hotel. I have informed the airline of fears about human trafficking, forced labour, etc. They have assured that once the hotel confirms her check-in or otherwise, the issue becomes easier to treat. If she did not arrive at the hotel, a manhunt would ensue. It is easy to track people once they have arrived in Doha. If you have not heard from her, please, remain calm until tomorrow. PS: This isn't my purview. Just going out of the way, please.

“Agbado” is more than a political buzzword it’s an economic opportunity. When Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, mentioned Agbado (corn/maize), many focused on the word itself. However, beyond the conversation lies a powerful reminder of the untapped potential of one of Nigeria’s most valuable agricultural resources. Corn is far more than food. It is a strategic crop that supports food security, industrialization, job creation, environmental sustainability, and economic growth. From a single harvest, corn can be transformed into: Corn flour, pap, custard, cornflakes, popcorn, and snacks. Animal feed for the livestock industry. Corn oil and starch for food processing. Ethanol and industrial alcohol for manufacturing and energy. Sweeteners, pharmaceuticals, and biodegradable products. The value doesn’t stop there. The husks, stalks, cobs, and leaves can be recycled into: Organic fertilizer and compost. Biofuel and biomass energy. Paper and packaging materials. Livestock bedding. Handicrafts and eco-friendly products. Building and insulation materials. Corn is also a relatively affordable crop to cultivate, has a short growing cycle, adapts well to many parts of Nigeria, and provides income opportunities for farmers, processors, transporters, manufacturers, exporters, and entrepreneurs across the value chain. As someone passionate about innovation, sustainability, and the circular economy, I see maize not just as a crop but as a catalyst for inclusive economic development. When we begin to look beyond consumption and invest in value addition, agro-processing, research, and recycling, we unlock opportunities that create jobs, reduce waste, strengthen local industries, and improve livelihoods. Sometimes, a simple word sparks a bigger conversation. Rather than dismissing it, let’s ask: How can we transform our abundant natural resources into sustainable wealth? Nigeria’s future will not only be built on technology or oil. It will also be built on agriculture, innovation, and our ability to create value from what we already have. Agbado is not just a grain it is an ecosystem of opportunities. If you are interested in product research and development with Green Tech Innovation comment “Agbado” #Agriculture #Agbado #Corn #FoodSecurity #CircularEconomy #GreenEconomy #Innovation #Sustainability #Nigeria #AgriTech #EconomicDevelopment #ValueAddition #ClimateAction #FutureOfAfrica
