Here’s Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead stepping up to join them for “R.A.M.O.N.E.S.,” the blistering tribute he wrote in their honor.

The tempers run high during the breeding season and This Snowy Egret is prepared to fight for his perch.
Not only do these birds have to have their nuptial displays perfected but they also have to know where to be positioned … and having the best perch is key to being seen by the females.
Once a male establishes a perch, they will have to not only clean up its surroundings but they’ll also have to fight to keep it. This male spent well over an hour prepping the area around the perch to allow him to be seen from every Angle when another pair of squawking Snowy Egrets began intruding his space.
In this image the Snowy Egret is in his full territorial display, making himself look four times larger than normal to warn the others. When that failed he had no other option but to strike out at them and physically remove them.
This image was taken at the Cypress Wetlands Boardwalk in Port Royal, South Carolina
