🕳️ The Caterpillar Crater (Hill 60 B), near Ypres, Belgium, is a massive WWI mine crater created on 7 June 1917 during the Battle of Messines—roughly 79 m wide and 15 m deep. Once a war scar, now a serene memorial surrounded by greenery and wildlife, perfect for reflection.

👏 Huge well done to Irvin and Elliot (8.4) for their fantastic work in History Club. They proudly laid a wreath at the Menin Gate Ceremony — a daily act of remembrance honouring the soldiers of WWI with no known grave.
We will remember them. 🌺 #LestWeForget #HistoryMatters
